Afternoon First Communion and M.E.R.C.Y. Families!!
It's hard to believe we are already at the end of November and kicking off the Season of Advent this coming weekend. As such, our Parish is bustling with busy and exciting events for families and children!
This coming weekend we begin our First Communion Enrollment Masses, November 26th5pm and November 27th at all Masses. As well, there will be a final Enrollment Mass next weekend, December 3rd at the 5pm Mass. Please ensure you attend one of these Masses and bring your child's purple "Enrollment Form".
Other exciting news...
Friday November 25th - M.E.R.C.Y
All children welcome to M.E.R.C.Y. (Ministry for Educating Roman Catholic Youth), our drop-in ministry program for children in Grades 1-4! We have a wonderful night planned on the "Works of Mercy - Helping Like Jesus". There is no charge for the program, children must however be signed in and out by a parent. The evening begins at 6:30pm and concludes at 8:30pm. Grade 5-8 "helpers" are welcome. The programs engages the children through an evening of music, crafts, fun and fellowship and we wrap up the evening with a tasty snack! We ask that a youth ministry registration form be completed for safety and you will find the form attached to this email, along with a link to our youth ministry postcards! Hard copies are available at the Parish and in your school office!
Saturday November 26th - ADVENT "PLAY AND PRAY"
Another exciting day for children JK-Grade 4 (Grade 5-8 "helpers" also welcome) from 10-3pm. The day will focus on preparing for the Season of Advent, through interactive play, crafts, music, fun and fellowship. Registration is required (an RSVP to this email is fine) and a completed youth ministry registration form is required (form attached). Please send your child with a packed lunch and snacks will be provided.
Once again, we look forward to welcoming students from St. Bernadette, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Nicholas, St. Joan of Arc and our Parish Choirs for an evening of music and song. The evening will begin at 7pm. Please save the date for this beautiful collaborative event!
We look forward to meeting you and your children over the various events in the coming weeks.
Many Blessings,
