Barrie Public Library Circle of Readers
Posted on 01/17/2017

Circle of Readers promotes a love of reading and self-esteem. This program is aimed at building the reading skills of those in Grades 2-5. Under the supervision of library staff, participants read with a volunteer for the first part of the hour. The second part of the program involves a group activity and finally everyone comes together for a reading circle. We all work together as a group to read a certain number of books, and when we reach our goal we celebrate!
